Prior to the commencement of any other project related task, a program is drafted to ensure milestone dates will be achieved. The program establishes the sequence of activities that define the critical path for the project and provides for the making of timely and informed decisions throughout the project duration.
Forecast Cost Planning
We firstly produce an analysis of the elemental cost plan of the project. When the concept design is finalised, the Cost Plan is then continually amended and updated as design works progress and used as a tool to forecast project costs, manage the design process, assess alternative construction techniques and apply value management principles to the project.
We are independent of any contractor or supplier chain. Choosing not to use Head Contractors, we are able to pass on cost savings by tendering directly to the specialised sub contractors who undertake the works.
Whether managing internal or external design resources, our Project Managers intimately understand the design process. This understanding provides for the effective management of this key resource.
Procurement and Contract
We develop and implement a procurement strategy that best addresses the needs of the business. Effective contract management ensures the goods and services required to carry out the works are delivered under contract according to the predetermined time, cost, quantity and quality standards.
All of our Project Managers are seasoned Construction Managers. It is our view that a project cannot be effectively managed without fully comprehending its construction.
