Washington H Soul Pattinson appointed PCG to project manage the refurbishment of their corporate headquarters at 160 Pitt Street Mall, Sydney.
Since its construction in 1886 the building has been home to the Soul Pattinson business. In recognition of the building's significant contribution to local heritage, it is registered on the NSW Register
of Historical Buildings.
The refurbishment and upgrade of the building's existing engineering services enabled the project team to focus on unusual aspects of the building's original architecture. The introduction of
a single passenger lift and a new enclosed atrium space at the rear of the building significantly improves the quality of the working environment for Soul Pattinson's staff.
